My note to Sen. Obama on the bailout.

despair HOPE
I like many people this morning am very frightenned about this bailout. Is this another way for the BU**SH** regime and their cronies just to go out with maximum profits in their pockets leaving you and the dems holding the empty bag and the blame for an economy that will be so crippled that your important goals will be very hard if not impossible to achieve?

Frankly, some of them really truely evil, more evil than you like to acknowledge. I think you are aware of this painful reality, but I know you have to deal with it all in an uplifting, bold but benevelent style. Take care of yourself and your family. WE need you:) I was very blessed to see and HEAR you and Joe in Greenboro,NC. Thank you so much for all you are doing.I do wish you would all read this; because I think it raises some important points: I care, and I believe Michael Moore really does, and that you do as well.
The number one cause of people declaring bankruptcy is because of medical
. Let me state this simply: If we had had universal health coverage,
this mortgage "crisis" may never have happened....... If we let them do this, just imagine how hard it will be to get anything good done when President Obama is in the White House. THESE DEMOCRATS ARE ONLY AS STRONG AS THE BACKBONE WE GIVE THEM. CALL CONGRESS NOW.

I guess I was a little too excited

but here is a very worthwhile link they get it RIGHT! really right - not far right like Mrs. Neocon Nora O'Donnell with her John is right montage- talk about taking something out of context and spinning it. That should NOT be her job.
We need real news not more right wing bu**sh**.
Media Matters often has ways you can help them to get it straight or try to reign in FOX spews.

Demand a DEBATE! McPalin is playing stupid chicken BU**SH** games

Our country's crisis should not be an excuse to duck out.
If there were ever a time we needed to hear the candidates' plans for how they'd run the country, it's now.
Also I love this important clue heard this AM on the TODAY show concerning what at times became a shuting match (and reportedly Mcain not saying much but OBAMA asking importnat questions):
"The republicans were done on their knees begging the democrats not to go PUBLIC with their objections" Think hard: could it be they don't want US to know who really gives a rat's ass about US???? I honestly don't know how anyone making less than $250,000 a year could consider voting for a repub.

Received this from the OBAMA folks and I so agree!

I have been signing and writing petitions concerning our economic mess, here is one I would like everyone to read and consider. You can add your story here too.-see link below.

We are facing a financial crisis as profound as any we have faced
since the Great Depression, but there's something you can do to make your voice
heard right now:
Obama campaign is asking folks to support a responsible recovery plan that is
fair to taxpayers and will fix our broken economic policies moving
It's actually a very simple plan:
* No Golden Parachutes --
Taxpayer dollars should not be used to reward the irresponsible Wall Street
executives who helmed this disaster.
* Main Street, Not Just Wall Street --
Any bailout plan must include a payback strategy for taxpayers who are footing
the bill and aid to innocent homeowners who are facing foreclosure.
Bipartisan Oversight -- The staggering amount of taxpayer money involved demands
a bipartisan board to ensure accountability and oversight.
Join me and
support these principles for economic recovery:

Community Organizers = Our American Heros

This is a very brief video that makes a great point. John McCain and Sarah Palin need a history lesson about our great country. Community organizers are the backbone of our great country and all they can do is mock them.

Stop the Arrests of Journalists. PLEASE Sign the Letter.

Police in St. Paul arrested several journalists yesterday, including Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman and an AP photographer as they were covering protests of the Republican National Convention. And earlier this weekend, police raided a meeting of the video journalists' group I-Witness.
