"Impeach, Remove, Jail " -Viggo Mortensen

In the often and rightly quoted words of Bill Clinton, "There's nothing wrong with America that can't be fixed by what's right with America." We see now how individuals and groups around the country continue to act in any way they can to help their fellow citizens in Louisiana, Mississippi and other devastated places near the Gulf of Mexico....
As we know, this agony and desperation was caused in large part by a near complete absence of adequate federal government funding, preparedness, and leadership.
We the people will continue to help Americans and non-Americans alike, with or without the participation or approval of George W. Bush and his Neo-Conservative cohorts.
While it is true that what is most important right now is to rescue, feed, house, and in any way possible care for those immediately affected by the disaster, it is equally true that in the long run those directly responsible for aggravating the tragic situation must be held accountable. The mounting evidence of the Bush administration's criminal mismanagement of the nation, as well as its consistently arrogant disregard for our planet's people and natural environments must be confronted immediately.....
Members of the Bush Administration responsible for the blatant lies and self-serving manipulations that have fanned the flames of disaster from Iraq to New Orleans must be prosecuted as our laws require. We must insist on this....
Please call or write your government representatives and help get the scoundrels out of government and in prison where they belong. Do not allow the subject to be changed, do not be distracted. The time to act is now. Take back your country.

I will retain interesting comments by fellow bloggers, but not simplistic insults. Freeper spew-especially by NON-bloggers will just be deleted.
I am not a big fan of the Spew on Cue Crew.
I guess it is a compliment to get freeped though.

I have no paticular desire to carry on a debate with name calling freeper types- and I don't think it is required-this is NOT my job, I do this for fun and to have a handy place for folks who care to find information and peititions.
GET a blog (those who don't have one) and do your spew on it, not here.
I'll read comments-but if anyone persists in name calling crap-I will likely delete it-well I guess I should just keep it here because it just goes to show how nasty those on the far right often are:)
You are just wasting your time and mine by coming here to call names. Try to get a life-Clinton is not the president-DUH. If you want a reality check feel free to read more, if not feel free to NOT.

So does this mean you are now going to allow someone with a differing point of view to debate you?

I opend the comments for a contest mostly. I will delete insults, silly accusations and hateful stuff. I have a real problem with a couple things on your blog- advocating killing dissidents and Cindy Shehan is NOT cool.
I suppose- hopefully you-really don't mean it literally.
Thanks for writing a nice note and quote. I do have the contest elsewhere so If I have to close the comments, if you or others, become overly abusive.
I don't want to spend too much time cleaning crap up.

I never, ever advocating killing Cindy Sheehan. I did joke about sending her to mars.

By the way, the referendum on Iraq's constitution passed.

Right now a very small group of insurgents are doing everything they can to stop Iraq from becoming a functioning democracy. ask yourself why is that happening. Could it be that a successful democracy spells doom to the Islamic radicals? wake up and smell the flowers.

We should all be united in supporting them. If we keep up this hate for our political opposition it will will in the end destroy us. Saying Bush needs to be impeached is more than just childish. It's downright destructive. It started with Clinton and if we don't stop it from now on anyone serving in the high office will have to face the opposition trying to thwart their every move and take them down. That's not what America is all about. We have elections for that.

Face it. Bush will not be impeached. But keeping up this hatred will end up destroying those who hate.

On your blog- which is shared, I read much worse then sending Cindy to Mars- not the last nasty entry- earlier.
I do not beleive the insurgency is small and I think our continued/long term prescence is a catalyst for the extremist.Have you heard that Brent Snowcroft agrees?
The last presidential capaign was very hateful, as are the smears from the far right.
I would like to see genuine democracy in the mideast. I actually think some of the countries could develop their forms of democracy eventually, I fear our trying to force it on them with bombs etc., AND building more pernament based, controlling their oil etc. will have a negative back lash.

I think what you say about Clinton is quite insightful, and as you know I have miced feelings about the Clintons. They both have their good qualities but... I do think the attacks on the Clintons-initailly financed a great deal by Richard Mellon Scaife and Sun Myung Moon, but for which we ultimately paid for dearly, were unfortunate. It has led to tragedy in many ways IMHO.
