Nice action you can take

OK I am figuring out how to do this right now, Glad folks are patient with us newbie bloggers.
Here is a nice action, you can take and get a cute souvenir if you want.
"Investments in essential children's health, education, child care services and even in children's food services are all on the budget chopping block." ask several 'swing' senators to care enough to do the right thing.
You can up load a picture of your child or just use their's, Then you can make an e-card or print it. this is their mains site.
I will try to go back and fix some of my earlier links, but if not cuting and pasting into the address box usually works and if not google:)

The BU**SH** zone is a dangerous and unhealthy place!

NO BU**SH** zone!I don't have the links right now, but I have read in the last couple days that Exon/Mobil and Shell have reported HUGE record profits!!!!! Exon's was over 25 Billion last year. Doesn't that make you cringe or feel a bit miffed when some folks can hardly afford to drive to work, never mind vacations???!
The big OIL companies are also set for MORE getting huge tax breaks with little emphasis or demands on finding alternative sources, and environmental concerns.
"Forty public policy groups seeking to undermine the scientific consensus that humans are causing the earth to overheat are getting money from ExxonMobil". PLEASE read this, important article- speaks to the way a lot of the BushInc. related SPIN works, mention the AEI BTW
How hard BushInc. fight's against scientific fact, in so many ways, their resources seem unlimited. Unfortuntely ours and our world's are not.

Alabama may ban books by 'gay' authors!

NO BU**SH** zone!Quote can be used both ways.

"It's not healthy for America, it doesn't fit what we stand for. And they will do whatever it takes to reach their goal."
Gerald Allen (Extremist Nut case) & Alabama State Representative saying why gay authors and books with 'gay' characters should be banned.
the truth is Book banning (especially this extreme-we aren't talking children here or explicit sex- we are talking literature and???? really where and who would you draw the line)
Right wing extremist and their reconstructionist mandates are not healthy for America, it doesn't fit what we stand for! And the Dominionist / reconstructionist (see CNP for more info) will do whatever it takes to reach their goal.

This is what democracy looks like, only it's a bit out of focus. Posted by Hello

NO BU**SH** zone!

NO BU**SH** zone! Here is another great web site.
The Project for the OLD American Century is a grass-roots organization that strives to protect and strengthen democracy primarily by disseminating unreported and underreported news stories from a perspective untainted by political or corporate sponsorship. here is a list of some of their best articles. including the POAC election 2004 coverage round-up , and here is the article about FACISM! In "Fascism Anyone?," Laurence Britt identifies 14 characteristics common to fascist regimes. a must or PLEASE read!

Is it facism yet? If you know this guy say "HI" Posted by Hello

IPIP Hooray!

It is amazing how quickly things can change; suddenly enough folks get disgusted by dangerous, destructive decisions, and in fighting amongst republicans who do NOT want to be forever dominated by the reconstructionist. This In-justioce Sunday frankly may have even helped, the facts are there, It just takes a few more strong voices- likely republicans- to say enough is enough and yank the thread. There are so many many threads to yank.
Some people think it might depend on what happens in 2006. I would encourage you to explore the information, there are a lot of potential grounds, and sign the petitions. This movement is building. Also if it ever does happen it will be a wake up call to clean up, to all-concerning lies and corruption-
MOST of us are fed up with that overall. Nothing will ever be perfect but it can get better- it has to.
"The president's.. job-approval rating recently dropped to 45 percent, the lowest of his presidency and well below that of other recent second-term presidents....problems have raised concerns and divisions among Republicans."
It all helps. I would really encourage you to check out a few of the many worthwhile links on the 51 Capital site. There is always hope!
MAY DAY HELP US! Protest Worldwide The march for our voting rights goes worldwide... You can search for events by state here too. also see...

Election Fraud Real and will be ongoing..unless...we...IPIP!

Here's the proof that Bush Cheated: this is a fairly concise review of some of what happend. has important information also. of this page on the USA's election fraud of 2004.

All the othe BU**SH** that is going on relates to this. This should be our number one issue, still. It happend, and it still has not been properly dealt with. attempts at reform (James Baker on a committee to look into this with Jimmy Carter- that is an insult to Carter and US!) will be meaningless without a reality check.

NO BU**SH** zone!

NO BU**SH** zone! this is a slide show of a anti-BU**SH** S>S> Townhall meeting demonstration in NJ, and the peace demonstrations in NY on the 2nd anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. [IMG][/IMG] more photos here. Including a weird but funny shot of a float from Germany in the guy's siggy. Thanks for caring.

state your opinion, check the facts

state your opinion, check the facts Well the nasty fruadulent election is long over, and so much more has happened.
Here is something that occured to me recently;

Dear Concerned Friends;

Didn't we/US once boycott the Moscow - Olympic games due to the USSR's invasion of Afghanistan ?
Well I think it's kind of funny - here Michael Bloomburg is wooing the International Olympic Committee to have the Games held in NYC, in a country that in the opinion of much of the world unjustifiably invaded another country and killed thousands of people-many totally innocent. AND he is also refusing to allow May Day/International Worker's Day- Peace and support our workers', troops and etc. ralleys and/or marches in Central Park or anywhere else apparently. May Day / International workers' Day ralleys will take place all around the FREE WORLD! but not for US???? Isn't that just so weird????

for more info on Bloomberg's anti-American stand see;

BTW; Tens of thousands of Iraqi protesters rallied; they called for the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq , for national unity and they denounced terrorism.
These are all good things , perhaps a sign of hope. Wishing US peace.
